“How do I pray?” That is a thought and worry many have. How to pray. Does the prayer need to be a certain length? Does it need to be wordy and precise? Does my grammar need to be excellent? Does it have to be something really important to get a response?
There are many questions like that that people have about prayer. And I can answer them simply, no.
Prayer doesn’t have to be a grand thesis. It doesn’t have to be an amazing speech. It doesn’t have to be something big.
God has no requirements for prayer. He simply wishes to spend time with you. To hear from you. Wether it be about a need. Or just to talk about life. He enjoys hearing from His children. Like any loving Father, He wants to spend time with His family.
You can come to God with anything. Even if it’s
Just a hello. He is there for you always. And even if you can’t find the words. He knows what’s in your heart. He knows what you wish to say, and He hears you.
So, approach God in prayer with anything and everything. He loves to hear from you. And will be waiting, arms outstretched and a smile on His face. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
“Pray without ceasing,”-1 Thessalonians 5:17 (esv)
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words”- romans 8:26 (esv)
““And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.”-matthew 6:7-9 (esv)
“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”- Psalm 145:18 (esv)
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”-philippians 4:6-7 (esv)

(April 25, 2018 - 2:11 pm)Greetings in The Name above every name.
It’s an awesome thing to know that The Word of God is actually, God speaking to us through people. So, I see how God is telling us how to pray according to His Word,…which does not come back void. With that said, I noticed years ago that God is telling us through Paul, in the book of 1st Timothy, chapter 2, verses 1&2 that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men; 2}. For kings,{ now would be Presidents }, and for all that are in authority, { police officers, lawyers, senator’s, governor’s, judges, military, FBI, CIA, and DOJ…}; that we may lead a quiet and PEACEABLE LIFE in all Godliness and honesty.”
So, we see here that by God’s Word, that before we pray for ourselves and our family and friends etc…we are Exhorted to pray for our LEADERS FIRST! After all, ” Blessed is the nation whose God is The Lord” Psalm 33:12…and the latter part of verse 2 of 1st Timothy, …. because when we don’t do this God’s way…then a country can wind up having a homosexual muslim for president instead! and or someone in office who wants to take away Biblical principles.
There are many Spirit led prayers recorded in The New Testament that not many Christians are aware of! Here are just a few…. Acts 4:24 -30..and verse 31 tells us what happened as a result! In Ephesians, Paul says that he makes mention of these brethren in PRAYER; and then in verses 17- 23…this is a prayer that believers should be praying over their fellow saints!
And then in chapter 3, verses 14-21 is another SPIRIT led prayer to speak over fellow saints . Verses 14&15 is where Paul says that this is what he is praying over them at Ephesus! The prayer actually starts with verse 16.
When these are spoken over a body of believers daily, that group will grow up , mature, much faster…because they are getting revelation of who they are in Christ.
Amen,
In Christ, Anthony.
Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ
in sincerity. Amen.
